DEANE CONSULTING, Inc. (DCI) provides professional geological,
water resource, groundwater, and environmental consulting services in accordance to a wide range of clients' project requirements.
Thomas C. Deane, CHg, PG, RG, MSc is the principal geologist/hydrogeologist for DCI and has over 30 years of professional
consulting experience in projects throughout the western United States, eastern Europe, and South America. DCI will bring an innovative approach to
your project, in which a clear understanding of your project site can, and should, be used to your benefit. The projects
highlighted on this website demonstrate the innovative problem-solving that Mr. Deane has used on large- and small-scale projects,
benefitting client long-term project needs. This website also includes a list of professional presentations that
Mr. Deane has given over the years.
Current projects include geological, surface water, and groundwater investigations
for water resource, mining, and land development clients; mine permitting support; and water-related arbitration/litigation
support for selected clients. DCI carries appropriate professional insurance coverage.
DCI will team with
other professionals (i.e., engineers, biologists, etc.), as either the lead or subconsultant, to effectively
support client project needs. DCI is located in the city of Redlands, California. Our personnel can travel to anywhere
within the United States and are available for international projects as well.

I'll be giving a presentation on a potential large-scale field laboratory where
newly-developed water-saving irrigation devices/practices can be compared en masse to existing 2005-vintage devices/practices,
by using two paleodrainages that had been eroded into the shallow underlying crystalline bedrock.
